Call for Research Grant Proposals - 2025

We are pleased to announce that the Indian Society of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry is now accepting applications for our 2025 Research Grant Program. This initiative supports innovative research projects that align with our mission to advance research that improves healthcare outcomes, supports public health innovation, and contributes to the development of evidence-based dental practices.

Grant Details

Funding Amount:

• Up to 50,000 INR for the ISPPD Travel Grant (in previous email, by mistake it was mentioned as 5 Lac)
• 10,000/- each ISPPD Research Assistance Grant for Student members
• 25,000/- each ISPPD Research Assistance Grant for Life members

Number of Awards:

• 02 ISPPD Travel Grant
• 25 ISPPD Research Assistance grants for student members
• 10 ISPPD Research Assistance Grant for Life Members

Eligibility

• Open to student members/life members
• For applying to the international travel grant, the applicant should have an invitation for presenting an original scientific paper.
• The scientific event should be of an international character. Invitations of a personal nature, such as for carrying out post-doctoral work, informal training programs/courses, internships, observerships, etc., will not be eligible for support.
• The applicant applying in any category of grant should not have availed any kind of financial assistance from ISPPD/any other agency during the last three years.
• If any candidate is found to have furnished incorrect/misleading information at any stage, his/her candidature will be cancelled and no reimbursement will be made. The candidate will also be debarred for the next three years for availing support from ISPPD.

• Budget breakdown
• CV/resume of principal investigator

Timeline

• Application Deadline: 1st July, 2025
• Notification of Awards: 15th August, 2025

Selection Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

• Relevance and originality
• Feasibility and methodology
• Potential impact
• Budget justification
